Recap of the last few weeks...

We've been quite busy the last couple of weeks!

We celebrated Mother's Day twice :) We celebrated on Mother's Day with Scott's mom and then the following week with Teresa's mom.

We forgot to take any pictures at Scott's parents so we'll have to make up for that later.

Here are a few pictures from the week after.

This past weekend Gabby ended up playing in the Advanced Recital. She wasn't originally supposed to play but the other person who was supposed to play the piece backed out at the last minute and so she was asked if she wanted to play. Which meant putting in 9 hours of practice on the one piece between Thursday afternoon and Saturday afternoon at the recital (she had been working on the piece originally the 9 hours was to polish it so that it was performance ready in less than 3 days). She did an AMAZING job! Click on the recital video links to hear her performances from this year. (She's wearing a multi colored dress in the one from this past Saturday)

Then on Sunday afternoon we went and spent a few hours over at Scott's sisters enjoying her company and being out in the sun by the lake. Gabby even went swimming.

To wrap up our eventful weekend Monday we went to Salt Water State Park and enjoyed the really low tide by wandering the beach and investigating the tide pools.
