Yummy recipe!

I tried a new fudge sauce recipe tonight and it was YUMMY!

I was at the dentist last week and while there they let you watch TV and listen to it through the head phones. So I chose the cooking channel. Paula Dean's show was on and she and her two sons were sharing some of their "secret" recipes or secrets anyway at the end of the show she made a fudge cake with a fudge sauce. I'm not a big cake person but the sauce looked really good.

So I printed the recipe and decided to make the sauce to go over ice cream or in a milk shake. Oh my word was it yummy! But the other thing that surprised me is how smooth and glossy the sauce was. Gabby has already asked if I'm going to make the cake as well. We'll have to see how soon I get around to making it and if there is any sauce left or if I'll have to make that too.

Maybe that will be our dessert for Resurrection Sunday!

Spring's here??

Well the first day of Spring has come and gone. Let's hope that the strange blustery weather will calm down now.

Here's a little bit of spring that has sprung inside our house.

My hydrangea has started to bloom of course it has been inside for the winter.

Here's hoping that things outside will follow suit soon.

Busy Weekend

On Saturday Gabby had her Sonatina Recital. I was able to get this video to upload. Her other recital piece she will be playing again in April and June.

Then on Sunday we went to church and to the Chris Tomlin concert with Scott's sister, niece and great nephew and great niece.

Weekend Fun!

Kim and Noelani came and visited on Saturday...

She is 9 months old and very tall for her age and of course she is SO ADORABLE!! We had fun visiting with them and we're looking forward to the next visit.

Beautiful Piano Runner

Scott's mom recently finished a project for us. She crochet a runner for the top of our piano. I love it!! It's beautiful.

The first two pictures are taken from above the piano in order to see the design. The last one is of course from the front after I put my February Barista Bear's on top.
