Driving Lessons 2 & 3

Well yesterday and today I/we took Gabby out driving in preparation for her driver's ed class beginning tomorrow.

Yesterday I took her to a near by Park N Ride that was empty and had her drive around practicing turning and parking then we went to an out of the way neighborhood for her to practice driving on roads. All in all we probably spent and hour to an hour and half.

Here's a couple of her parking jobs. Her first and 3rd attempts were great but the second one (I didn't take a pic) she was parked in 3 spaces.

Today Scott and I took her out together and had her pretty much drive on roads that weren't too busy. She's getting the hang of things we only had one close call with someones rockery :) but she stopped in time.

20 years ago today...

I married the most wonderful man!

I can't believe that 20 years has gone by so quickly!!

I'm thankful EVERY day for the husband God has given me.

Well she finally did it! Gabby got her permit to learn how to drive.

She did a great job or course this was a parking lot that's not paved so we'll let you all know once she's actually out on the roads ;)

Hard Week...

It's been an interesting week around here...

...and illness for Gabby & I.

...God's grace.
...God's peace.
...and God's provision.
