Mystery Solved & More Silliness

If you look at the what I posted on January 7th this post will make more sense.


I've been curious since we were walking through Sam's club as to what candy was being demonstrated that night.



It was...

They are chocolate covered pop rocks & rice crispies. So I bought some tonight to try and of course I'm sure you know what we said...CHEW.....CHEW.....CHEW....STOP to each other the entire time and then of course I laughed a lot.


Life around our house has been kind of stressful so it was nice to return to a bit of silliness tonight.

So here is my 4th picture from my 3rd file since I already posted the one in my 4th file and per Carol's directions I was supposed to post a different one. :)

Scott and I were walking through Sam's Club yesterday and we hear this...

"Chew..................................Chew.................................Chew.....................STOP!"

We look over and one of the food demo ladies is talking to a girl who was about 13 or 14. Apparently she was demoing some sort of candy that was supposed to tingle. The girl was looking at her like she thought she was quite strange and I started cracking up laughing.

The rest of the night I would randomly blurt this out to Scott.

I know it's the simple things in life that amuse me but since it still amuses me just thinking about it I thought that I would share with all of you.

Christmas & New Years

We had a great Christmas...

We ventured out in the snow on Christmas Eve to church. It was a very fun evening and finally put us more in the mood to celebrate Christmas. Then we went home and finished up the last of the things we need to do for Christmas morning.

On Christmas morning we opened presents together and then went to Teresa's step-sister's where her Dad and step-mom were staying. We had a very yummy prime rib dinner with them and then went to Teresa's mom's and step-dad's for a second dinner of a yummy ham dinner.

Besides all of the food we enjoyed the time with family. Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures at her step sister's but Scott did pick up the camera at her mom's so here are a few pictures of our day...

On the following Saturday wew were finally able to get out to visit Scott's folks and celebrate with them.

Then on New Year's Eve we went over to Carol's house and played games until it was time to ring in the New Year.

Today we went over to Teresa's mom's for dinner and to do some more celebrating and of course to play with Noelani. :)
