Gabby's Recital

Well I have been trying to get the video that I took at her recital last week small enough to upload but so far I've been unsuccessful.

So I've uploaded the few pictures that we took and I'll keep working on the video.

Happy birthday to my sweet Husband

Today is Scott's birthday! I made him a Eggs Benedict scramble for breakfast and then he worked all day. Then we took Gabby for her first driver's ed class which we were allowed to stay for the first 20 minutes of class then they dismissed us. So Scott and I went out for dinner since we had 2 hours until she was finished. We went to the Ram. It was a good way to celebrate his birthday. Then we went to Dairy Queen on the way home so Gabby could have dinner and we could have dessert. Overall not a bad day.

Driving Lessons 2 & 3

Well yesterday and today I/we took Gabby out driving in preparation for her driver's ed class beginning tomorrow.

Yesterday I took her to a near by Park N Ride that was empty and had her drive around practicing turning and parking then we went to an out of the way neighborhood for her to practice driving on roads. All in all we probably spent and hour to an hour and half.

Here's a couple of her parking jobs. Her first and 3rd attempts were great but the second one (I didn't take a pic) she was parked in 3 spaces.

Today Scott and I took her out together and had her pretty much drive on roads that weren't too busy. She's getting the hang of things we only had one close call with someones rockery :) but she stopped in time.

20 years ago today...

I married the most wonderful man!

I can't believe that 20 years has gone by so quickly!!

I'm thankful EVERY day for the husband God has given me.
