On The Road

Well we left home a week ago today on our vacation. Here's a brief recap of what's been going on...

Scott started the vacation out with a sinus infection :( He was quite miserable and we weren't sure if we were even going to continue on but we decided to go ahead and see how things went.

Sunday afternoon we drove until we arrived in Grant's Pass Oregon then Monday we drove until we came to Kettleman CA (south of Sacramento). Both nights were light on sleep between the hotel rooms and Scott being up most of the night coughing. We arrived in Yuma at Teresa's Dad's on Tuesday afternoon. Where a VERY yummy Prime Rib dinner awaited us.

Scott was able to get an antibiotic and started on it that night and has improved continually. (He's pretty much back to normal! Yippee!). Teresa, however came down with it on Tuesday night, so then we were both hacking and coughing all night. She was able to get on medication on Wednesday.

While in Yuma we went to the In & Out Burger, Gabby swam and went to the swap meet twice with Linda and then we went to the old Yuma Prison on Friday.

Then Saturday after a very yummy breakfast of biscuits and gravy at the club house where Daryl and Linda live. After that we headed to Chandler to Teresa's mom's.

We had a family get together here tonight which was a lot of fun.
